My name is Sweet Pea and I am so sad that I am in rescue. You see, I had a loving momma who took good care of me. She got sick and had to go to the hospital, so she boarded me with the nice people at Leon Valley Animal Hospital. Unfortunately my momma didn't get better enough to take me home. After three months of boarding, she decided it wasn't fair to keep me in a kennel. She asked if Dr. Meier could find me a new home and he called the girls. They are very nice to me, but I really need someone to hold me and let me become a special Sweet Pea again. Will you love me? Adoption Fee: $150 Adoption fees includes spay/neuter, appropriate distemper/parvo shots for dog's age, bordatello and rabies shots. All dogs over 6 months are tested for heartworms. Once the dog comes into the system they are current on heartworm medications and flea/tick preventative.
