Meet Meeko, a gentle Norfolk Terrier mix with a tender heart and a quiet spirit. Born on March 10, 2025, and weighing 14.7 pounds, Meeko is the shyest of his group, but beneath that timid exterior is a sweet pup just waiting to feel safe and loved.

Meeko came from a home with 29 dogs where he was well cared for, but he didn’t get much socialization. Because of this, he’s still learning how to navigate the world and what it means to be part of a family. New people and experiences can feel overwhelming at first, and he may come across as a bit standoffish—but give him a little time and patience, and you’ll see him slowly begin to trust and open up.

He is working on walking on a leash and building confidence, and he’ll need a calm, understanding home that will continue to guide him at his own pace. Meeko does warm up, just a bit more cautiously, and every small step forward is a big victory for him.
