Van is a resilient little guy with a big heart, ready to find his forever home! Born around April 2025, this 7.4-pound male chihuahua arrived at the shelter as part of a seizure of dogs from a challenging living situation. While he initially came in a bit feral, his sweet nature has quickly emerged, and he is now a friendly and affectionate companion eager for love.

This handsome boy is looking for a patient and loving family who can help him continue to build his confidence and show him the world is a wonderful place. He has made incredible progress in a short time and is ready to shower his new owners with loyalty and affection.

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
