Meet Mitzi, a delightful, petite "pocket lab" mix with a story of resilience and hope! Born around March 4, 2022, this sweet girl weighs a dainty 17.9 pounds and is ready to find her perfect happily ever after.

Mitzi’s journey began when she was found abandoned on the rural streets of Castroville. She was incredibly skinny and suffering from significant hair loss, but she was lucky enough to be rescued by a kind ranch family who took her in off the street.

Since entering rescue, Mitzi has absolutely blossomed! Her coat is shiny and full, her tail wags constantly, and her true personality is shining through. She is a gentle, affectionate girl who has put her past behind her and is focusing on a bright future.

Mitzi is now fully vetted, healthy, and eagerly waiting for a loving home where she can thrive.

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
