Freya is a brave little schnauzer who has already shown incredible resilience. This sweet girl was found running loose for weeks in a rural area near Fredericksburg, Texas, before a kind samaritan was able to safely take her in. The samaritan tried diligently to find her original owner, and when those efforts were unsuccessful, they reached out for more help.

It appears Freya may have recently had puppies, adding to her history of hardship. Despite her past, she has a heart full of love to give. She does take a little time—about an hour—to warm up to new people. But once you're in her circle of trust, she is your most devoted shadow. Freya absolutely loves to snuggle and will follow you everywhere, eager to be close to her person.

Now, Freya is patiently waiting for a safe and loving forever home where she can finally put down roots and be cherished.

If you are ready to open your heart and home to this loyal companion, please apply to adopt Freya at www.adoggie4you.org. Her adoption fee is $350.
