Hello there, my name is Troy, and it's so nice to meet you! Though my beginnings were a bit uncertain, as I was found wandering the streets of San Antonio, my future is full of promise. I may have had a rough start, but I am a very sweet boy and believe in happy endings. The shelter staff say I'm an absolute sweetheart, and my heart is ready to devote itself to a loving family.

As a Shih Tzu, I am a born companion and have a lot of love to give. Whether we're going for a short walk around the neighborhood or having a cozy night in, I'm just happy to be by your side. I'm ready to learn and will thrive with a family that can show me what it means to be truly pampered and loved. I'm great on a leash and potty trained.

My history means I may be a little unsure of myself at first, but with a gentle touch and some one-on-one time, my sensitive and affectionate personality will blossom. If you're looking for a devoted companion who will reward you with endless affection, then I could be your new best friend. All I need is a family to call my own.

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
