Meet Frannie, an adorable little dachshund/chihuahua mix with a story of resilience and a heart full of love. Frannie was part of a voluntary seizure of dogs and puppies in Bandera and, along with her littermates, came into our care needing a gentle touch. Though initially quite scared and feral, dedicated volunteers have worked patiently to show her that humans can be trusted.

Frannie, and her litter of four, have blossomed in our care and are now ready to find their forever homes. She may have had a rough start, but she has discovered the joy of human affection and loves to be near people. At just 6.2 pounds, she is a tiny package of love and loyalty, eager to have a family to call her own.

This little girl is looking for a patient and loving home that will continue to show her the world isn't so scary. With a warm lap and a little bit of time, she will surely become your devoted companion. She has overcome so much already and is a testament to the power of love and kindness.

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
