Introducing Freddie, a handsome and resilient dachshund/chihuahua mix with a story that proves love can conquer all. Freddie, along with his littermates, was part of a voluntary seizure of dogs and puppies in Bandera. When they first came to us, they were quite timid and feral, but thanks to the patience and dedication of our volunteers, they have all learned to love and trust people.

Freddie, one of four puppies received from the litter, has blossomed into a sweet and affectionate boy. He has discovered the joy of human companionship and is now seeking a forever family to call his own. At 7.2 pounds, he's a small dog with a big heart, ready to give his all to a loving home.

Freddie is looking for a family that will continue to show him kindness and patience, helping him build his confidence and see the world as a safe and happy place. If you are looking for a loyal companion who will shower you with affection and appreciate every moment you spend together, Freddie is the perfect match.

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
