Say hello to Melanie, an adorable Dachshund/Chihuahua mix who’s ready to steal your heart! This sweet little girl was rescued along with her mom and three siblings by a kind Good Samaritan. Now she’s safe, happy, and looking for a forever family to call her own.

Born around August 3, 2025, Melanie is still a playful puppy who loves to explore and have fun! She’s full of personality—people-friendly, toy-obsessed, and always ready for playtime with her siblings. When she’s done playing, she’s happiest cuddled up in your lap, soaking up all the love she can get.

Melanie weighs just 5 pounds, making her the perfect size for snuggles. She’s already spayed, up to date on her care, and ready to bring joy and laughter to her new home.

This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
