Due to covid 19 you must have an approved application to visit our facility.  Applications can be completed at www.adoggie4you.org.   Please do not call to ask if the dog is available.   It will stay posted until we have enough applications to find a match.  It typically takes 1 to 2 weeks.  We only have 3 people working adoptions, and we are receiving 25 to 30 apps a day and hundreds of calls and inquiries,  which slows the process for everyone.  Adoption fee is $700.

Gordo has had a tough life.  This little man was purchased from a breeder by a young lady who didn't have the time or money to care for him.  He got in pretty bad shape.  The mom realized what was happening and took the dog to her house to nurse it back to health. She already had a female English Bulldog, which Gordo played with daily.  She also had chickens that liked to peck at him.  It was funny until Gordo finally had enough and killed the chicken that pecked his eyes.  Mom gave the dog to a friend who had a small pug.  They loved
Gordo, but were afraid to let him play with their dog because he was so big.   Gordo loves people.  He wants to go for walks and just be loved on.  He has not shown any aggression towards dogs here, but he doesn't really know how to ask them to play.  He just comes barreling up.  He plays great with our Boston.    Gordo came in with entropian eyelids on both sides.  We did surgery on Gordo to correct the problem.  He is currently on eye drops due to the peck from the chicken, but it appears the eyes have healed well.
