Cayden and Clifford came to us from a horrific hoarding case in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. They were kept in a warehouse with over 100 other dogs, deprived of light, food and interaction. They were a mess when they came to us. They were used to fighting for every bite of food and fighting humans that were abusing them.

Cayden and Clifford blossomed under our care. They play with other dogs now and even play with toys. They love the handler's that take care of them and they are no longer terrifed when they are being groomed. Both these dogs have come a long way.

Both Cayden and Clifford were adopted a year ago by a very nice family. Cayden was returned within a week for trying to bite the husband. We suspect it was because he was wearing a uniform. Clifford lasted four months longer. He was doing great, but he tried to bite the husband and he was returned. He did good with the wife and children.

Over the last year they both have really become more social and we want to give them another chance to find a family. If you don't have an abundance of patience and the experience to work with a dog that has been mistreated, please don't apply. These boys need an opportunity to shine.
